Sunday at FPC
November 23, 2014
8 AM (First Light) & 10 AM
This Sunday Senior Pastor Doug Pratt concludes his two-part sermon series on “Rightsizing God.” Assisting him will be Pastors John McWilliams and Steven Grant, Children’s Ministry Coordinator Lauren Hargis, Director of Sacred Arts Jeff Faux, and Associate Director Peter Lewis. Special music enhancing our worship will be offered by the Contemporary Ensemble, Chancel Choir and vocalist Kathy Moffett. We will also welcome the most recent class of new members.
This is a Family Worship Sunday. The 10 AM service will include a Children’s Message, after which the children may depart for Sunday school or remain in the sanctuary with their parents.
CenterPoint worship, in our alternate venue just off the art gallery, is a wonderful option at 10 AM. Those seated in CenterPoint participate fully in the worship services via live video/audio feed from the Sanctuary. The atmosphere is more casual, with coffee and refreshments available. One of our pastors will be present to greet you.
Childcare for the youngest children (6 months to 3 years) is available and Children’s Sunday school for those 3 years to 5th Grade is offered at 10 AM. Parents are asked to check their children in at the Check-In desk, located at the east end of the Narthex, near the entrance to the Family Ministries Center, before the service.
A Time of Prayer & Communion
Sundays at 11 AM • Price Chapel
Every Sunday immediately following the 10 AM service, we offer an opportunity to experience a time of healing prayer and communion. Come to Price Chapel, where one of our pastors, together with members of the Order of St. Luke, stand ready to minister to your needs.
