Sunday at FPC
August 31, 2014
This Sunday Senior Pastor Doug Pratt concludes his six-part sermon series on God’s Prescription for Life (a study on the first six chapters of Second Corinthians). His message, “The Pineapple Gospel,” will focus on 2 Corinthians 5:14 – 6:2. Assisting him in worship leadership will be Pastor Steven Grant, Director of Sacred Arts Jeff Faux and Associate Director Peter Lewis. Special music will be offered by vocalists Judy Devine and Robert Beane. The team departing Monday for five days in the Dominican Republic will be commissioned as a part of the service.
First Light and CenterPoint worship are suspended for the month of August and will resume on Sunday, September 7.
Childcare for the youngest children (6 months to 3 years) is available and Children’s Sunday school for those 3 years to 5th Grade is offered at 10 AM. Parents are asked to check their children in at the Check-In desk, located at the east end of the Narthex, near the entrance to the Family Ministries Center, before the service.
A Time of Prayer & Communion
Sundays at 11 AM • Price Chapel
Every Sunday immediately following the 10 AM service, we offer an opportunity to experience a time of healing prayer and communion. Come to Price Chapel, where one of our pastors, together with members of the Order of St. Luke, stand ready to minister to your needs.
