Sunday at FPC
May 10, 2015
8:00 AM (First Light) & 10 AM
This Sunday our worship will be led by Senior Pastor Doug Pratt, with special guest Rev. Dan Oedy sharing a message from God’s Word. Rev. Oedy, a former Associate Pastor at First Church, now pastors Southminster Presbyterian Church in Gastonia, NC. Assisting in worship leadership will be Director of Sacred Arts Jeff Faux and Associate Director Peter Lewis. Special music enhancing our Mother’s Day services will be offered by the Children’s Choir, the Angelus Bells, the Chancel Choir, flutist Cheryl Bauer and cellist Eduard Gulabyan.
CenterPoint worship, in our alternate venue just off the art gallery, is a wonderful option at 10 AM. Those seated in CenterPoint participate fully in the worship services via live video/audio feed from the Sanctuary. The atmosphere is more casual, with coffee and refreshments available. One of our pastors will be present to greet you.
Childcare for the youngest children (6 months to 3 years) is available and Children’s Sunday school for those 3 years to 5th Grade is offered at 10 AM. Parents are asked to check their children in at the Check-In desk, located at the east end of the Narthex, near the entrance to the Family Ministries Center, before the service.
A Time of Prayer & Communion
Sundays at 11 AM • Price Chapel
Every Sunday immediately following the 10 AM service, we offer an opportunity to experience a time of healing prayer and communion. Come to Price Chapel, where one of our pastors, together with members of the Order of St. Luke, stand ready to minister to your needs.
