When You Arrive
As you turn off Bonita Beach Road onto the church grounds, you’ll find designated parking areas to your right and straight ahead. Parking attendants assist with traffic flow during our peak season.
ADA-designated parking is available directly across from the main entrance. You may also drive under the porte-cochère to leave passengers at the main door before parking your car. To the south of the church (i.e., straight ahead as you enter the property), angled parking is available on the grass. For your convenience, a tram runs continuously from the parking areas to the entrance before (and after) the services.
Greeters will welcome you at either of our entrances, on the east and west sides of the narthex. Our Welcome Desk, by the west entrance, is staffed with volunteers eager to serve you. There you can get your questions answered, borrow a hearing-enhancement device for the service, sign up for a membership class or purchase a CD of that morning’s (or a previous) service or order a DVD.
Ushers are stationed at every entrance to the sanctuary, to greet you and provide the morning bulletin. The bulletin itself is in two parts. The outer shell is the order of worship; the inner “First Things First” contains the weekly announcements.
You’ll notice that most worshippers wear name tags. These are provided by the church for our members and regular attenders, who wear them not only to worship services but to any church event. We find these are a great way to facilitate conversation, as they alleviate that oh-so-common anxiety over remembering names.
