New website

Welcome to the new and improved First Church website and a feature we’re calling “First Look.” We encourage you to look here first whenever you visit the website, as it will highlight the latest news from First Church – whether it’s introducing a new program or providing details of an upcoming event. We hope it will be an exciting way for you to get that “first look” into what is happening at FPC.

This may be your first look at the new website.  Note the easier navigation and “quick link” buttons on the home page to get you where you want to be. In addition to our weekly podcast of the Sunday message, we are introducing a video webcast as well – so the Sunday sermon and choir anthem are just a mouse click away!

The main screen or “window” in the center of the home page will highlight programs and events and also serve as an easy link to more information. Secondary pages now include a left side bar to further help you navigate the site. This box contains the categories and sub-categories featured in the section you are in (e.g., This Week at FPC, Upcoming Events, etc.). Just a quick click on the sidebar subject and you will go directly to that page.

In the coming months, you’ll find additional features, such as on-line giving and event registration.
