Weekly sessions begin Tuesday, September 12 • 1-2:30 PM
It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future if you have lost a spouse, child, family member or friend. You don’t have to face your grief alone. The GriefShare support group at First Church is beginning a new 13-week term with innovative sessions to help movement toward healing. Each self-contained session includes three components: a video seminar featuring interviews with top experts on grief and recovery, real-life case studies and dramatic re-enactments; discussion time, with no pressure to participate; and a workbook for personal study and expression through journaling.

Weekly sessions begin Monday, Sept. 18 • 5:30-7 PM
Divorced? Separated? Know someone who is? Unless you’ve been there, it’s hard to understand the hurt that comes from separation and divorce. Our DivorceCare group is led by people who have been through divorce and successfully rebuilt their lives. The 14-week program is nondenominational, open to the community and includes a session for “Surviving the Holidays.” Practical information and biblical teaching is presented through video features, group discussion and homework. The group meets weekly but each session is stand alone so you can attend as few or as many you wish. Cost is $15 for the workbook.
To register or if you have any questions, contact Biblical Counselor Maria Karl at the Center (email@example.com; 239-221-8250). Details about the program are also available at their website, divorcecare.org.
