Rev. Dr. Douglas G. Pratt - Senior Pastor/Head of Staff
A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Pratt has been an ordained Presbyterian minister since 1979, with degrees from Allegheny College (B.A. in English), Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity) and Fuller Theological Seminary (Doctor of Ministry). Called to this congregation in 2004, Rev. Pratt had previously served as Executive Pastor at Eastminster Presbyterian in Wichita, Kansas (1979-1990) and as Senior Pastor of Memorial Park Presbyterian in suburban Pittsburgh (1990-2004). His primary areas of ministry are in preaching, teaching and providing leadership to the church staff, elders and various committees. Doug and his wife Jeanne, a speech/language clinician in Naples, have been married since 1975. They enjoy reading and golf.
Rev. Dr. Steven M. Grant - Associate Pastor
If he’s not teaching an Adult Education class, assisting in worship or providing pastoral care, Dr. Steven Grant might be found playing his violin! With a degree in violin performance from the University of Missouri–St. Louis, Steven Grant went on to earn a Master of Divinity at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago and his Doctor of Ministry (D. Min.) degree from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA; he was ordained in 1986 and has served as an associate or solo pastor in churches in St. Louis, Omaha, Lake George (NY) and Fort Myers. Pastor Steven serves First Church as a popular teacher and sensitive counselor, and program director for the Spiritual Development Center, which opened in September 2014. He also oversees our congregational care ministries and Diaconate, all while balancing his commitment as violinist/violist in the Fort Myers-based Southwest Florida Symphony. Steven and his wife Nanette, an orchestra teacher in the Collier County public schools, have one son, Evan.
Rev. Bradley M. Rogers - Associate Pastor
Rev. Brad Rogers is a graduate of Illinois State University (B.A. in Psychology) and received his Master of Divinity from University of Dubuque Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa. Ordained in 2011, he served as associate pastor at Westminster Presbyterian Church in his hometown of Rockford, IL for eight years. He has also served on the Council of Advisors for Dubuque Seminary and as Secretary for the Blackhawk Presbytery Nominating Committee. Just recently called to serve First Church, Pastor Brad’s duties will include teaching and preaching as he and his family settle in to their new church home in Southwest Florida. Brad and his wife Lauren have been married since 2006 and have three young children.
Rev. June Barrow - Assistant Pastor
Rev. Barrow was ordained in 1999 and served on the pastoral staff of Southport Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis, Indiana for 15 years. Certified as both a Spiritual Director and a Marriage Coach, Pastor June offers spiritual guidance and counsel to individuals and couples. She leads classes and retreats related to spiritual, emotional and relational growth, as well as fulfilling pastoral duties at First Church, including preaching. Pastor June and her husband Al, a psychologist for 38 years, helped establish the Spiritual Development Center at First Church. Both share a passion for helping people make emotional and spiritual changes in their lives. They have two grown children and three grandchildren, and spend summers in Indiana.
